About

Brook Ferris is an interdisciplinary artist working across photography, watercolor, and sculpture. Her artistic journey began through photography, a medium she has been immersed in for over half her life. Over time, her practice expanded to include alternative photographic processes, historical techniques, and mixed media explorations that challenge conventional ways of seeing and documenting the world. Brook has worked closely with Chris Johns, former editor and chief of National Geographic Magazine, and is a founding member of Oregon State University’s Reser Creative Scholars cohort. Her work has been exhibited in the Patricia Valain Reser Center for the Creative Arts, the Praxis Gallery, Bing's Cafe, and published in Prism and Dam Chic magazines.
